Our vehicle will collect you from your hotel in Cusco at 7:00 am. We will commence our journey to Ollantaytambo, stopping for 15 minutes to explore the area, purchase souvenirs, snacks, or use the restroom. Following this, we will continue to Abra Malaga, situated at 4,316 meters, for a brief photo opportunity of the breathtaking snowy Veronica.
Subsequently, we head to Hidroeléctrica, our last stop, where you can enjoy a delightful lunch. After a short rest, we will begin our hike from the hydroelectric station to Aguas Calientes, where our lodge is located. The hike lasts approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. In the evening, around 6 pm, we will enjoy a wonderful group dinner. You’ll then have some free time to discover Aguas Calientes or unwind in the town’s hot springs.

On the second day, we rise early at 4:00 am to commence our hike to Machu Picchu. Your guide will meet you at the entrance to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the ruins. The climb to the citadel takes about 40 minutes.
After this enchanting experience, you will enjoy a 2-hour guided tour, where you’ll discover the fascinating history of these ancient ruins. After the tour, you’ll have time to explore Machu Picchu independently. We recommend beginning your descent to Aguas Calientes by 11:00 am. This allows time for lunch before returning to Hidroeléctrica. We’ll take a bus back to San Francisco Plaza in Cusco, arriving between 9:30 pm and 10:00 pm.
